The Albany Police Department is committed to active partnerships with the community in order to protect life and property and enhance the safety and quality of life in the community we serve. The Albany Police Department strives to maintain the highest standard of excellence utilizing training and technology to create a safe environment for those who live in and visit Albany.
The Albany Police Department is currently comprised of the chief, 1 police sergeant, 4 full-time patrol officers, and one non-sworn support staff.
